October is Farm Fresh Challenge across the State and Medina Valley has accepted that challenge the past couple of years. Last year we were awarded with the Cream of the Crop!
Child Nutrition are currently working out our education and marketing pieces for the month and we have asked Oak Farms - our Milk vendor - to promote Texas Dairy at Luckey Ranch. 

They will decorate the cafeteria with balloons and they will have paper cow ears for the students. This promotion is to encourage milk consumption and also educate our students about local dairy. This promotion will happen in the cafeteria during the lunch period. They have a "cow" that will be present and the kids really love the cow.
