STAAR results delayed due to redesign

(MEDINA VALLEY ISD — June 7, 2023)  — The State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness final results will be available for high school students June 30 and grades 3-8 August 16.

Results will take longer this year due to the resign of the assessment, which is more aligned with classroom instruction. Educators from across the state also will provide expert opinions on passing scores.

Grades 3-8 results:

August 11: Medina Valley ISD will get scale scores, performance levels and STAAR report cards.

August 16: Results will be available for students and families in the family portal.

High school, or end of course, STAAR exams:

May 30: The district will have access to scale scores, performance levels and STAAR report cards; and will make decisions regarding a student. Early results may be considered final unless districts request corrections.

June 30: Results will be available for families in the family portal.
