Military-Connected Families

Welcome to the Luckey Ranch Military Family Community!

Ericka Hatfield  Hello! My name is Ericka Hatfield, and I am honored to serve as your Military Liaison/Counselor here at Luckey Ranch Elementary.  As a school that deeply values the service and sacrifice of our armed forces, we understand that military life comes with unique joys and challenges, from frequent moves to deployments and everything in between. My goal is to ensure that every military-connected student and family feels seen, supported, and empowered from the moment they join our Cub family.

We are proud to stand with you. Whether you are new to the area or a long-time resident, please don't hesitate to reach out. We are here to make Luckey Ranch feel like home!

Introduction to our Registration Process

Step one is to start the registration process!  You can view the process by clicking HERE.  Once your child has completely registered, then your child will be ready to start at LRE! On their first day of school, our PEIMS clerk will greet them in the office and Parents/Guardians will be given a LRE Welcome Brochure and are welcome to join your child on a quick tour of the campus, provided you check-in with your drivers licenses.  Records will be requested using TREX.  If you have any special programs paperwork (SPED, 504, GT, Bilingual), it is highly recommended that you provide copies during the enrollment process to speed up support services.

Our campus prekindergarten program is for four year old children.  If your child meets the eligibility criteria as a child of an active duty member of the armed forces, national guard, or reserve component of the armed forces, who is ordered to active duty by proper authority, they qualify for pre-K under the Free Prekindergarten for Certain Children (TEC 29.153).

Our campus has different clubs that students may be able to participate in.  Some clubs include: Cub Cadets, Astronaut Club, Crochet club, Student Council, Choir, Chess Club and many more!  Ask your child's teacher to learn more about clubs and who the sponsors are to contact for more information.

Our campus has built in intervention time to target areas in academics that students may need additional support.  Teachers use data driven practices to promote growth.  Additional tutoring may be offered.  Contact your child's teacher to learn what opportunities are available to further assist at home.  Luckey Ranch Elementary provides education to PK - 5th grade students.  Students that do not meet academic readiness are reviewed by a committee to determine promotion/placement/retention.  Free online tutoring can be assessed here.

  • Our district utilizes ParentSquare as a communication platform.  More information can be found here.
  • Our district utilizes LINQ Connect for breakfast and lunch payments.  More information can be found here.
