 Parent’s Agreement

As a parent, I commit to:

  1. Ensure my child attends school daily, arrives on time (7:30 a.m.) with necessary school supplies, is well-rested (research suggests eight hours of sleep for optimal success), and is prepared. I will limit student tardiness and early dismissals.
  2. Set high expectations for my child and provide a structured routine for completing schoolwork.
  3. Support the teacher by ensuring all homework assignments (including behavior charts) are completed and checking/signing my child’s academic and behavior progress daily.
  4. Attend parent/teacher conferences as requested by the teacher, counselor, or an administrator.
  5. Encourage my child to respect their teachers, school staff, and property, including transportation property.
  6. Monitor and manage my child’s screen time and ensure the quality of programs they engage with.
  7. Keep communication open with my child’s teacher through letters, phone, email, or electronic messaging.
  8. Track academic progress by reviewing progress reports and report cards on Skyward.
  9. Attend school events and join PTO, encouraging my child to utilize district-approved programs.

Ways to Get Involved in Your Child’s Education
